Singapore Tourism Board reports (03-Jun-2011) international visitor arrivals to Singapore rose 15.7% year-on-year for the three months ended Mar-2011. Estimated tourism receipts rose 35.7% year-on-year for the three months ended Mar-2011. Details include:

• International visitor arrivals: 3.1 million, +15.7% year-on-year;

    • Indonesia: 577,000, +19%;
    • China: 412,000, +25%;
    • Malaysia: 256,000, +17%;
    • Australia: 222,000, +6%;
    • India: 171,000, +9%;
    • Japan: 167,000, +28%;
    • Philippines: 151,000, +39%;
    • UK: 133,000, -9%;
    • US: 115,000, +11%;
    • Thailand: 110,000, +38%;
    • South Korea: 107,000, +8%;
    • Hong Kong: 100,000, +42%;
    • Vietnam: 70,000, +15%;
    • Germany: 63,000, +6%;
    • Taiwan: 53,000, +8%;
