Visitor arrivals to Singapore up 15.4% in Feb-2011

Singapore Tourism Board reports (30-Mar-2011) visitor arrivals to Singapore rose 15.4% year-on-year in Feb-2011, the highest ever recorded visitor arrivals for the month of February. Details include:

• Visitor arrivals: 990,000, +15.4% year-on-year;
  • Indonesia: 177,000, +23%;
  • China: 150,000, +5%;
  • Malaysia: 82,000, +19%;
  • Japan: 58,000, +43%;
  • Australia: 58,000, +5%;
  • India: 51,000, +10%;
  • Philippines: 48,000, +48%;
  • UK: 42,000, -12%;
  • Hong Kong: 38,000, +53%;
  • South Korea: 37,000, +24%;
  • US: 34,000, +9%;
  • Thailand: 31,000, +34%;
  • Vietnam: 27,000, +31%;
  • Germany: 19,000, +11%;
