Malaysia Airlines reduced commercial travel schedule

Due to the extended travel restrictions imposed by governments worldwide to contain the spread of COVID-19, as well as the uncertainty surrounding it, Malaysia Airlines will suspend flight operations across our network until May 2020 for domestic and June 2020 for international services. We however maintain critical air connectivity between Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, and Sarawak as well as rescue and repatriation flights worldwide where required. Our sister airline, Firefly will continue to operate limited domestic services and MASwings for intrastate services in Sabah and Sarawak.
For ease of reference, we have published here the list of available flights from May onwards for domestic and July onwards for international services:

Australia and New Zealand
ASEAN
China, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan
Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Sri Lanka
United Kingdom
Domestic
For customers with bookings purchased on or before 30 June 2020, your tickets will now be valid for travel by 30 June 2021. All new rebookings and requests for extension must be made by 31 December 2020.

Additionally, customers will be able to make unlimited changes to travel dates with the change fee waived as well as flexibility to change to a new travel destination. A fare difference will apply if the fare for your new travel date is higher than the original ticket purchased. Fares will be reassessed at the time of your rebooking.

If you have not requested for your ticket to be changed or converted to a travel voucher, please submit your requests through our online Assistance Request form or contact your travel agency if your booking was made through a travel agent.

We look forward to serve you onboard soon and in the mean time, stay safe and keep healthy.
