Capital A Berhad (formerly AirAsia Group) was a multi-national airline group headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Originally founded in 1993, the group now operated a network of low cost carriers including AirAsia, AirAsia Cambodia, Philippines AirAsia, Indonesia AirAsia and Thai AirAsia.

While AirAsia, based at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, was the core airline in the company, Capital A retains significant oversight and equity holdings in the franchises it operates throughout Asia. All member airlines utilised the 'AirAsia' brand and employed identical low cost business models. The AirAsia X Group control the brand's long haul carriers including AirAsia X, Thai AirAsia X and Indonesia AirAsia X.

TATA Group signed an agreement with AirAsia Group to acquire the entire equity share capital of AirAsia India in Nov-2022.

Capital A completed its aviation business disposal of AirAsia and AirAsia Aviation Group to AirAsia X (AAX) in Jan-2026. The completion of the transaction consolidates all AirAsia-branded airlines under a single airline platform, AirAsia Group, while Capital A "pivots to grow its non-aviation portfolio".
