AIX Connect (formerly AirAsia India) was a low cost carrier that commenced domestic services on 12-Jun-2014. The airline received approval to commence international services in Feb-2022.
Air India Express and AIX Connect completed the process of merging into a single airline under the Air India Express brand and operating under the 'IX' IATA code on 01-Oct-2024.
