Indonesia AirAsia is a low cost carrier based at Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. The airline is a JV between Malaysian LCC AirAsia (49%) and PT Fersindo Nusaperkasa (51%). Indonesia AirAsia operates a fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft both domestically and internationally to destinations in South East Asia and Australia.

On 29-Aug-2017, AirAsia announced the company and its wholly owned subsidiary AirAsia Investment Limited executed multiple agreements to partially dispose and subsequently convert its perpetual securities investments in Indonesia AirAsia into new shares in Rimau Multi Putra Pratama (RMPP), a company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, where RMPP shall be the new holding company of Indonesia AirAsia. The transaction is expected to be complete by 4Q2017.
