Greece extends entry restrictions for select EU, intl markets until 15-Sep-2020
Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority extended (31-Aug-2020) a series of NOTAMS restricting travel for various European markets to 15-Sep-2020 in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic as follows:
- Services to/from Greece and Turkey and all flights to/from Greece and Catalonia airports in Spain;
- All services to/from Greece and Albania and North Macedonia will continue to operate only at Athens International Airport;
- All passengers travelling to Greece on connecting services via Bulgaria, Romania, United Arab Emirates, Malta, Sweden, Belgium, Spain, Albania and North Macedonia will only be allowed entry upon presenting valid proof of a COVID-19 negative test taken up to 72 hours prior to travel;
- No entry of non-EU citizens excepting those from Australia, Canada, Georgia, Japan, New Zealand, Rwanda, South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia, Uruguay and the UAE;
- Passengers travelling via Israel will only be able to enter Greece with a COVID-19 negative test. [more - original PR - Greece]
