Tunisia is an Arab country in North Africa. The country’s two major airports are Tunis-Carthage International Airport and Monastir Habib Bourguiba International Airport. Nouvelair, Transavia France and Tunisair dominate the air passenger service network, while TunisAir Express provides charter services. TunisAir, which is the flag carrier airline of the country, is a joint venture between the Air France and the Tunisian government, while TunisAir Express is a subsidiary of this joint venture. The Tunisian Civil Aviation and Airports Authority is the regulatory body responsible for Tunisia’s civil aviation sector.
