Australia's Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport passenger numbers up 6% - traffic highlights for Aug-2012:

• Passenger numbers: 3.1 million, +5.7% year-on-year;

The airport reported (20-Sep-2012) the major nationality markets that grew included Australia (+4%), Singapore (+96%), Malaysia (+92%), Indonesia (+68%), China (+17%), India (+10%), Germany (+8%), New Zealand (+5%), Japan (+4%) and the US (+4%). The UK (-7%), France (-5%) and South Korea (-2%) were the major nationality markets that declined.
