European Council updates list of third countries eligible for easing travel restrictions

European Council updated (16-Jul-2020) the list of third countries for which member states are advised to begin lifting travel restrictions at external borders, as follows:

• Algeria;
• Australia;
• Canada;
• Georgia;
• Japan;
• Morocco;
• New Zealand;
• Rwanda;
• South Korea;
• Thailand;
• Tunisia;
• Uruguay;
• China, subject to confirmation of reciprocity.

Residents of Andorra, Monaco, San Marino and the Vatican City should be considered as EU residents for this purpose. [more - original PR]
