Loganair to take over 16 former Flybe routes
Loganair confirmed (05-Mar-2020) it plans to take up 16 routes formerly operated by Flybe prior to its demise, adding close to 400 weekly movements to its schedule. Route details include:
- Aberdeen-Belfast City: Daily, effective 16-Mar-2020;
- Aberdeen-Birmingham: Up to three times daily, effective 16-Mar-2020;
- Aberdeen-Jersey: Weekly, effective 09-May-2020;
- Aberdeen-Manchester: Four times daily, effective 16-Mar-2020. Upgauge with ATR equipment from 01-Sep-2020;
- Edinburgh-Cardiff: Daily, effective 23-Mar-2020. Increase to 10 times weekly from 01-Sep-2020;
- Edinburgh-Exeter: Daily, effective 23-Mar-2020. Upgauge with ATR 72 from 06-Jul-2020;
- Edinburgh-Manchester: Up to four times daily, effective 23-Mar-2020;
- Edinburgh-Newquay: Twice weekly, effective 20-Jun-2020;
- Edinburgh-Southampton: Up to four times daily, effective 15-Jun-2020;
