Cornwall Airport Newquay is the main commercial airport serving Cornwall, England. The airport is located close to Newquay, a hub for tourism in the region. Cornwall Airport was formerly operated by the UK military before it was handed over for civilian control in Dec-2008. As well as handling a number of scheduled airline services, the airport also hosts flight schools and an air ambulance. The airport is owned by Cornwall Council and operated by Cornwall Airport Limited.
