AirAsia Group to pursue single listed holding company for ASEAN airlines

AirAsia Group CEO Tony Fernandes said (23-Feb-2017) the company aims to pursue plans to combine its Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines operations under a single listed ASEAN holding company, now that its airlines in the countries are, "on stable footing." Mr Fernandes said, "We are urging ASEAN governments to relax ownership restrictions and consider ASEAN investors as equivalent to local investors."
