Abu Dhabi International Airport pax up 9% to 1.9m in Feb-2016

Abu Dhabi International Airport reported (27-Mar-2016) a 8.7% year-on-year increase to 1.9 million passengers and a 3.5% increase to 13,307 aircraft movements in Feb-2016. Abu Dhabi Airports COO Eng Ahmad Al Haddabi said: "We continue to see year on year growth in passenger numbers traveling through Abu Dhabi International Airport and this highlights the fact that the UAE capital is continuing to develop as a global tourism destination and strategic transport hub. Traffic between India, UK, Thailand, Australia, USA and a number of others, all witnessed increased passenger figures from AUH.
