Viva Air Peru resumes operations from Lima to Cusco, Iquitos and Piura

Viva Air Peru CEO Stephen Rapp, via his personal LinkedIn account, announced (16-Jul-2020) the carrier resumed domestic operations in Peru, connecting Lima to Iquitos, Cusco and Piura. According to OAG, the carrier operates Lima-Cusco, Lima-Iquitos and Lima-Piura services four times weekly with 188 seat A320 equipment, effective 15-Jul-2020. Mr Rapp stated: "Load factor in our aircraft with these first flights show that bit by bit we will regain the passenger trust for them to continue flying with us". Load factor reportedly was 90% and the carrier transported over 1000 passengers on 15-Jul-2020 (Torre Eldorado, 16-Jul-2020).
