Viva Perú (established as Viva Air Perú) is a Peruvian airline based in the capital, Lima. The brand was introduced by Irelandia Aviation (the founder of Ryanair, Viva Aerobus, Allegiant and Viva Colombia) in Jun-2016 as a low cost subsidiary operating from Lima Jorge Chavez International Airport. Irelandia established Viva Air Perú as a provider of domestic and international low cost services within Grupo Viva's extended Latin American network. Viva Air Perú was unveiled on 02-Nov-2016 and launched operations on 09-May-2017 with Lima-Iquitos service. Viva Air Perú rebranded to Viva Perú in May-2021.
