Lebanon to limit arrival of pax from countries without PCR tests
Lebanon's Ministry of Public Works and Transport reported (29-Jun-2020) 80% of arrivals to Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport are required to be from countries which have PCR tests available, and 20% from countries where this test is not available. Countries classified as having accredited PCR tests are Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa and the Central African Republic, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Jordan, Bahrain, Oman, Iran and all countries in Europe except Italy, Sweden, Denmark, Spain and Armenia. All airlines are required to comply with this notice. Passengers coming from countries which perform PCR tests must undergo a test 96 hours before departure to Lebanon and show results at check in counters, while passengers arriving from non PCR countries shall be subject to PCR tests performed through labs authorised by the Ministry of Public Health at the airport.
