Eurowings notes 'sharply rising demand' for business and leisure travel in summer 2020

Eurowings announced (09-Jun-2020) plans to increase the number of destinations served in its network to 80% in summer 2020, in response to "sharply rising demand" for both business and leisure travel. The carrier also plans to resume double end-of-day connections in its schedule, with a focus on routes from Duesseldorf, Hamburg, Stuttgart and Cologne. Palma de Mallorca is currently the most popular destination for Eurowings, followed by Sylt, Zurich, Ibiza, Barcelona, Lisbon, Rhodes and Heraklion. [more - original PR]
