Bombardier and SWISS celebrate 30 day in service milestone for C Series

Bombardier reported (18-Aug-2016) the CS100 has completed 30 days of revenue service and both Bombardier and launch operator SWISS are "satisfied with the CS100 aircraft's technical reliability and pleased that it has been performing as expected". At the 30-day in-service milestone, the first CS100 aircraft has completed 136 flights and flown more than 91,000km and served 13,250 passengers and four destinations (Paris, Manchester, Prague and Budapest). Bombardier stated that a "few, minor technical and operational issues relating to de-icing, air conditioning and ground handling were quickly resolved" with the help of on-site customer services team. The second SWISS CS100 aircraft, which was delivered on 12-Aug-2016, is expected to enter service in the coming weeks. [more - original PR]
