TAP Portugal reports profit in 2016

TAP Portugal announced (01-Mar-2017) its profit result in 2016 was achieved through an "expressive" reduction in operational costs, partially offset by reduction in revenues. The year was characterised by strong investments, including the creation of TAP Express, the complete renovation of the regional fleet, launch of the Lisbon-Porto 'Airbridge', renovation of the Airbus fleet cabin and launch of the Portugal Stopopver programme.
