TAP announces TAP Express fleet

TAP Portugal announced (27-Mar-2016) its new regional start-up carrier TAP Express operates with a 17 aircraft fleet, eight of which are ATR 72 operated by White Airways and nine Embraer E190s operated by Portugalia, both with TAP Express livery. White Airways' operations under TAP Express currently involve two ATR 72, with the remainder gradually entering service over the coming weeks. TAP Portugal has used ATR 42, E145 and Fokker equipment on its regional services. Shortly the fleet will be entirely made up of new ATR 72s and E190s. TAP Express is a commercial brand only. TAP will continue to be the transporter and responsible for marketing the product and for the national and international bodies while Portugalia and White will be the operators.
