Diehl Aviation previously conducted an in-service evaluation of its ECO Grey Water Reuse System on two SWISS Boeing 777s, reporting stable performance after around three months and estimating savings of up to 250 litres of fresh water per flight on long-haul operations, with potential annual fuel and CO₂ reductions per aircraft.1 SWISS also inducted A350-900s into service from late 2025, deploying the type on Zurich-Palma de Mallorca and later Zurich-Montreal, with additional A350 deliveries planned through 2031.2 3
