- Kutaisi-Marseille: Twice weekly from Nov-2019;

Ryanair expects to handle 170,000 passengers p/a on Georgia routes. United Airports of Georgia director Giorgi Chogovadze and Ryanair CCO David O'Brien signed a cooperation agreement, which Georgia's Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze considers will enable the country to attract more tourists from EU countries and provide opportunities for affordable travel to Europe by citizens of Georgia. Mr O'Brien said the carrier planned to announce three routes, however Mr Bakhtadze emphasised the importance of developing connections with Germany, resulting in an agreement to announce Tbilisi-Cologne service. Georgia's Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava said 12 new destinations were agreed on. [more - original PR] [more - original PR - II] [more - original PR - Georgian - III]
