Passenger traffic up 4% in Sep-2012 , cargo traffic up 1%: IATA

IATA reports (02-Nov-2012) the following traffic growth in Sep-2012:

  • Passenger traffic (RPKs): +4.1% year-on-year;
  • Passenger load factor: 80%;
    • International passenger load factor: 80.9%;
    • Domestic passenger load factor: 78.4%;
      • Australia: 78.1%;
      • Brazil: 74%;
      • China: 82.1%;
      • India: 64.9%;
      • Japan: 67.4%;
      • US: 80.5%;
  • Cargo traffic (FTKs): +0.6%;
    • International cargo traffic (FTKs): +0.5%;
      • Africa: +2.6%;
      • Asia Pacific: -2.3%;
      • Europe: -0.8%;
      • Latin America: -1.7%;
      • Middle East: +16.4%;
      • North America: -1.0%;
