Lufthansa Group pax numbers up 2% in Jul-2012, pricing environment develops positively

Lufthansa Group reports (09-Aug-2012) the following traffic highlights in Jul-2012:

• Passenger numbers: 10.2 million, +2.1% year-on-year;
  • Lufthansa Passenger Airlines*: 7.4 million, +3.6%;
  • SWISS**: 1.6 million, +1.2%;
  • Austrian Airlines: 1.1 million, -5.6%;
• Passenger load factor: 84.9%, +0.8 ppt;
  • Lufthansa Passenger Airlines: 84.2%, +0.6 ppt;
  • SWISS: 87.8%, +0.3 ppt;
