LATAM Airlines Brazil takes delivery of first A320neo in the Americas

LATAM Airlines Brazil announced (30-Aug-2016) it took delivery of the first A320neo (tail PT-TMN, msn 7126) to operate in the Americas. The aircraft already features LATAM Airlines' livery. The aircraft is fitted with Pratt & Whitney Pure Power PW1100-JM engines. In addition, the carrier also took delivery of its fourth A350, the first to bear the LATAM Airlines livery. The aircraft is configured in single-class with 174 seat, featuring 18" wide seats and Space-Flex cabin configuration. The A320neo arrived in Belo Horizonte on 31-Aug-2016. LATAM plans to deploy the aircraft on Brasilia, Belo Horizonte, Campo Grande, Curitiba, Florianopolis, Porto Alegre, Recife, Rio de Janeiro Galeao International Airport and Sao Paulo Guarulhos International Airport routes. The carrier has placed order for 67 A320neo family aircraft, and is due to take delivery of one other neo aircraft by the end of 2016.
