Jetstar launched BidCash, allowing passengers to bid cash for business class upgrades on most Boeing 787 international services, and stated it intended to extend the product to Qantas Frequent Flyer members using Qantas Points.1 Qantas Group previously flagged that, from 2026, members would be able to use Qantas Points to upgrade to business class on Jetstar flights.2 3 Jetstar's first refurbished 787 entered service on 07-Apr-2026 with Viasat WiFi, as part of a fleetwide refit of all 11 787s due to complete in late 2027.4
