International tourist arrivals up 4.5% for four months ended Apr-2011: UNWTO

UNWTO reports (30-Jun-2011) worldwide international tourist arrivals rose 4.5% year-on-year for the four months ended Apr-2011. Details include:

UNWTO: “UNWTO maintains its forecast for international tourist arrivals in 2011 at between 4% and 5%, slightly above the long-term average and in line with previous assessments. The developments in the Middle East, North Africa and Japan are not expected to significantly alter the global forecast,” Source: Company statement, 30-Jun-2011
