International passenger traffic up 9.3% in Feb-2012: IATA

IATA reports (03-Apr-2012) the following traffic growth in Feb-2012:

  • Passenger traffic (RPKs): +8.6% year-on-year;
  • Passenger load factor: 75.3%;
    • International passenger load factor: 74.4%;
    • Domestic passenger load factor: 76.7%;
      • Australia: 77.8%;
      • Brazil: 66.5%;
      • China: 79.3%;
      • India: 75.4%;
      • Japan: 61.4%;
      • US: 78.8%;
  • Cargo traffic (FTKs): +5.2%;
    • International cargo traffic (FTKs): +5.1%;
      • Africa: +3.8%;
      • Asia Pacific: +8.9%;
      • Europe: -1.8%;
      • Latin America: -4.8%;
      • Middle East: +18.4%;
      • North America: +0.1%;
