International passenger traffic up 4%; cargo declines 3% in Nov-2011: IATA

IATA reports (30-Dec-2011) the following traffic highlights for Nov-2011:

  • Passenger traffic (RPKs): +4.3% year-on-year;
  • Passenger load factor: 76.3%;
    • International passenger load factor: 74.6%;
  • Cargo traffic (FTKs): -3.1%;
    • International cargo traffic (FTKs): -3.8%;
      • Africa: -1.7%;
      • Asia Pacific: -7.2%;
      • Europe: -4.6%;
      • Latin America: +3.3%;
      • Middle East: +4.7%;
      • North America: -0.8%;
    • Domestic passenger traffic (RPKs): +4.7%;
    • Domestic passenger load factor: 79.2%;
      • Australia: 81.7%;
      • Brazil: 65.7%;
      • China: 80.7%;
      • India: 76.8%;
      • Japan: 65.4%;
      • US: 83.4%;
