Indian airlines report 22% jump in May-2010 domestic pax

India’s Ministry of Civil Aviation reported (15-Jun-2010) the following scheduled domestic traffic highlights in May-2010:

  • Total passenger numbers: 4.8 million, +21.8% year-on-year;
  • Seat factor:
    • Air India: 77.8%, +8.7 ppts;
    • Jet Airways: 82.5%, +13.3 ppts;
    • JetLite: 85.4%, +8.0 ppts;
    • Kingfisher: 83.2%, +10.3 ppts;
    • SpiceJet: 90.4%, +11.3 ppts;
    • Paramount: 86.6%, -2.8 ppts;
    • GoAir: 86.0%, +1.8 ppt;
    • IndiGo: 92.3%, +7.2 ppts. [more]
