IATA reports 4% pax traffic growth in Feb-2013, outlook remains positive
IATA reported (03-Apr-2013) the following traffic growth highlights in Feb-2013:
- Passenger traffic (RPKs): +3.7% year-on-year;
- International: +3.6%;
- Africa: +7.7%;
- Asia Pacific: +4.5%;
- Europe: +0.8%;
- Latin America: +7.0%;
- Middle East: +10.6%;
- North America: +0.3%;
- Domestic: +3.9%;
- International: +3.6%;
- Passenger load factor: 77.3%;
- International: 76.3%;
- Africa: 65.2%;
- Asia Pacific: 77.1%;
- Europe: 76.5%;
- Latin America: 76.7%;
- Middle East: 77.7%;
- North America: 76.0%;
- International: 76.3%;
IATA: "The outlook for air travel markets remains positive with business confidence levels continuing to suggest a stronger demand environment in the months ahead.
