IAG passenger numbers up in Apr-2012, cargo traffic down
International Airlines Group (IAG) reports (04-May-2012) the following consolidated traffic highlights in Apr-2012:
- Passenger numbers: 4.4 million, +0.9% year-on-year;
- Domestic (UK and Spain): 899,000, -2.1%;
- Europe: 1.9 million, +0.6%;
- North America: 733,000, +5.9%;
- Latin America and Caribbean: 375,000, -5.1%;
- Africa, Middle East and S.Asia: 351,000, +3.2%;
- Asia Pacific: 135,000, +11.6%;
- Passenger load factor: 81.6%, +1.9 ppts;
- Domestic (UK and Spain): 76.6%, +1.3 ppts;
- Europe: 76.7%, +2.0 ppts;
- North America: 84.6%, +1.5 ppts;
- Latin America and Caribbean: 84.2%, +2.3 ppts;
- Africa, Middle East and S.Asia: 79.2%, +2.9 ppts;
- Asia Pacific: 80.9%, +1.0 ppts;
