China and Indonesia to lead Asian aircraft deliveries through 2026: DVB

DVB MD Vicente Alava Pons, speaking at CAPA's Financing the Asian Aviation Revolution conference, stated (07-Sep-2012) China and Indonesia will take approximately 40% of all aircraft delivered through 2026. China and Indonesia will each take over 500 aircraft based on current orders. India is projected to take approximately 450 aircraft while Malaysia has 350 on order, but this is largely due to AirAsia's backlog, which will be dispersed through its subsidiaries in other regions.
