Cathay Pacific North Asia revenue account for 58% of total revenue, only region to see yield decline

Cathay Pacific Airways reported (13-Mar-2013) the following revenue and yield performance by region:

  • Revenue: HKD99,376 million (USD12,811 million), +1.0% year-on-year;
  • Load factor: 80.1%, -0.3 ppt;
    • India, Middle East, Pakistan and Sri Lanka: 75.5%, +1.3 ppt;
    • Southeast Asia: 79.3%, -3.3 ppts;
    • Southwest Pacific and South Africa: 77.3%, +1.0 ppt;
    • Europe: 85.0%, +1.3 ppt;
    • North Asia: 71.9%, -1.6 ppt;
    • North America: 87.6%, +0.5 ppt;
  • Yield: +1.2%;
    • India, Middle East, Pakistan and Sri Lanka: +2.4%;
    • Southeast Asia: +0.9%;
    • Southwest Pacific and South Africa: +1.7%;
    • Europe: +1.9%;
    • North Asia: -3.4%;
