ANA to adopt new Japan-US timetable in Mar-2011

All Nippon Airways President Shinichiro Ito stated the carrier will adopt a new timetable for Japan-US services in late Mar-2011 as part of joint operation of the routes with two US carriers (The Nikkei, 12-Nov-2010). The US Department of Transportation issued (10-Nov-2010) United Airlines, Continental Airlines and ANA a final order granting antitrust immunity enabling the carriers to execute a trans-Pacific JV under which they intend to develop flight schedules and sales activities. ANA: "We aim to strengthen our competitiveness by putting our joint operation into practice, starting with next summer's timetable. The integration could boost revenue by JPY3-5 billion a year.
