AMX, ORC, JAC, ANA and JAL sign partnership to establish EAS LLP and promote regional routes

Japan Air Commuter, Amakusa Airlines, Oriental Air Bridge, Japan Airlines and All Nippon Airways established (25-Oct-2019) 'Essential Air Service Alliance LLP' (EAS LLP), a limited liability partnership to cooperate in maintaining remote air routes to Japan's outlying islands. Details include:

• Establishment of a safety foundation to promote cooperation in the area of aviation safety;
• Joint sales and promotional initiatives;
• Joint procurement activities and joint sales office to be opened in Tokyo;
