American Airlines takes delivery of 14th 787 from Boeing

American Airlines stated (16-Feb-2016) it took delivery of its 14th 787 from Boeing. The aircraft is the 100th built at Boeing's North Charleston 787 assembly site and the first delivery from Boeing South Carolina for the carrier. American Airlines VP of network planning Chuck Schubert commented that the aircraft has "quickly become an important part of our fleet, allowing us to fly profitably to new places like Auckland, New Zealand."
