Charleston International Airport
Charleston International Airport serves the city of Charleston, South Carolina. The airport is served mostly by the regional subsidiaries of the US majors, which operate regular services to cities in the eastern US. The airport is also an important general aviation, air taxi and military facility in the region. Charleston International Airport is also a base for Boeing, where the US aircraft manufacturer has invested USD750 million to build its 4000-worker assembly plant for the 787 Dreamliner aircraft. The airport is operated by the Charleston Country Aviation Authority.
