Airbus forecasts A380 will be used on Chinese domestic routes

Airbus head of A380 market development platform David Dufrenois said (17-Feb-2016) the manufacturer expects "more and more A380 flights for China, both into the country and within its borders, driven by air traffic growth." The aircraft is in service with China Southern Airlines, with other Asia Pacific operators including Singapore Airlines, Asiana Airlines, Korean Air, Malaysia Airlines, Qantas and Thai Airways International.
