AirAsia X pax numbers up 21% in 1Q2013, 84% load factor

AirAsia X reports (02-May-2013) the following traffic highlights for 1Q2013:

  • Passenger numbers: 0.7 million, +20.9% year-on-year for continuing routes;
  • Passenger load factor: 84%;
  • Passenger traffic (RPKs): +21.7%;
  • Capacity (ASKs): +26.7%;

AirAsia X: "This year AirAsia X will continue to focus on increasing capacity in our identified core markets including Australia, China, Taiwan Korea, and Japan. The addition of 7 aircraft in 2013 will see AirAsia X expand further in the long-haul segment across Asia Pacific.
