AirAsia Japan to launch Tokyo Narita-Busan service

AirAsia Japan stated (11-Oct-2012) it is set to launch operations on its second international service to Korea with daily service from Narita to Busan, in addition to the newly launched service to Seoul Incheon. The new service will operate daily from 28-Nov-2012 - see Route Changes Table for more information. AirAsia Group CEO, Tony Fernandes said, "It's truly fantastic to see the rapid growth of AirAsia Japan with the launch our latest international route from Narita to Busan, following the launch of Narita to Incheon just yesterday. We are confident that this route will garner excellent response from the public, enhancing economic returns for both Korea and Japan through more business and tourism activities. I would like to congratulate Kaz and his team in AirAsia Japan for a job well done." AirAsia Japan CEO, Kazuyuki Iwakata said, "Subsequent to the launch of Narita to Incheon yesterday, we are extremely happy to launch yet another new international route from Narita to Busan and proud to be the first LCC in Japan to service the route".
