AerCap announces 4Q2010 transactions

AerCap announced (12-Jan-2011) the completion of the following transactions during 4Q2010: [more]

13 new lease agreements:

Eight aircraft deliveries under contracted lease agreements:

Aircraft orders:

Signed an LoI with Boeing in Nov-2010 covering the purchase of up to 15 B737-800s, consisting of 10 firm aircraft and five purchase rights. Contract signed on 23-Dec-2010.

Other activities:

  • Delivered 18 engines under lease agreements;
  • Purchased four aircraft (two new A320s, one new A330 and one used B757) and nine engines;
  • Sold five aircraft (two new A320s and one used A320 from its owned portfolio, and one B737-300 and one B737-500 from its managed portfolio) and three engines,
  • Disassembled four aircraft and four engines,
  • Closed a transaction with Waha Capital which included the acquisition of a 40% stake in Waha's 16-aircraft portfolio;
  • Signed agreements for USD791 million of debt facilities.
