AerCap announces 4Q2010 transactions
AerCap announced (12-Jan-2011) the completion of the following transactions during 4Q2010: [more]
13 new lease agreements:
- Frontier Airlines: Three A319s;
- Brussels Airlines: Two A320s;
- Donbassaero: One A320;
- LAN Airlines: One A320 and one A319;
- PT Metro Batavia: One A320;
- Delta Air Lines: One B757-200;
- Vision Airlines: One B737-400;
- Orenair: One B737-800;
- Nok Air: One B737-400
Eight aircraft deliveries under contracted lease agreements:
- Hainan Airlines: One A330;
- Frontier Airlines: Three A319s;
- Delta Air Lines: One B757-200;
- Hello Airlines: One A320;
- Vision Airlines: One B737-400;
- LAN Airlines: One A320.
Aircraft orders:
Signed an LoI with Boeing in Nov-2010 covering the purchase of up to 15 B737-800s, consisting of 10 firm aircraft and five purchase rights. Contract signed on 23-Dec-2010.
Other activities:
- Delivered 18 engines under lease agreements;
- Purchased four aircraft (two new A320s, one new A330 and one used B757) and nine engines;
- Sold five aircraft (two new A320s and one used A320 from its owned portfolio, and one B737-300 and one B737-500 from its managed portfolio) and three engines,
- Disassembled four aircraft and four engines,
- Closed a transaction with Waha Capital which included the acquisition of a 40% stake in Waha's 16-aircraft portfolio;
- Signed agreements for USD791 million of debt facilities.
