Demanda por voos domésticos cai 90,97% em maio
Demand for domestic flights fell by 90.97% in May, compared to the same period last year. The supply of seats on planes, in turn, fell by 89.58% in the same comparison. These two indicators represent the second worst monthly result since 2000, when the historical series of the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) began. The weakest performances were recorded in April, the height of the impact of the new coronavirus pandemic on the sector. The data were compiled by the Brazilian Association of Airlines (ABEAR). They include the operations of their associates (GOL, LATAM, VOEPASS / MAP) and bring aggregated numbers from other national companies.
