About

Associação Brasileira das Empresas Aéreas (ABEAR) is an airline association founded in 2012. The organisation was established by Brazil's five major airlines - Avianca, Azul, Gol, TAM Airlines and TRIP Linhas Aereas (which later merged with Azul in 2014). ABEAR aims to address institutional issues facing the country's airline industry, advocating flight safety and a sustainable transport sector. TAM Cargo and TAP Portugal are associate members of ABEAR.
