Air NZ Airnotes: Schedule Change Policy | Reminder - customer contact details in bookings

Schedule Change Policy

We will be making updates to our schedule to support extended aircraft maintenance across our network.

These schedule changes will be progressively rolled out in your GDS and PNRs will be updated with a UN status. Please ensure you check your queues for impacted bookings, contact your customers to discuss their options, and update bookings as soon as possible.

Customers have flexibility as per the long-term Schedule Change Policy

If you require additional support, please contact Agency Sales Support

Reminder - customer contact details in bookings

Please ensure customer contact information is available in all bookings so your customers can be notified of a change to their travel plans close to departure.

We recommend entering the traveller's Airpoints number in bookings where possible. In addition, Air New Zealand requires passenger contact details to be added as a Special Service Request (SSR) in all PNRs, using the following standard contact information entry format and entries:

Country code, then area code without leading zero(s), then the phone number without spaces.

Examples:

Australia mobile number
02 123 456789 to 612123456789 (+61 is the country code followed by the number without leading 0)

New Zealand mobile number
021 234567 to 6421234567 (+64 is the country code followed by the number without leading 0)

United Kingdom mobile number
07 123 456789 to 447123456789 (+44 is the country code followed by the number without leading 0)

The Air New Zealand Mobile App supports customers with the best day of travel experience which we recommend travellers download and log in using their Airpoints account to take advantage of its full features.
