About

Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport serves Chile's capital and largest city, Santiago de Chile, and is also known as Santiago International Airport or Nuevo Pudahuel Airport. The airport is located 15km from the CBD and shares facilities with the Chilean Air Force. Santiago is among the top 10 Latin American airports in terms of passengers and movements, and is one of only two airports on the continent with direct connections to the Oceania. Connections to all Latin American capitals are offered by LATAM-group carriers and most national carriers in the region. Direct North American and European services are also offered. Consorcio Nuevo Pudahuel secured a 20-year contract to operate the airport, after signing a concessionaire agreement with the Chilean Government in Feb-2015. Groupe ADP (45%), VINCI Airports (40%) and Astaldi Concessioni (15%) have an equity stake in Nuevo Pudahuel.
