Humberside Airport is a regional airport serving the Humberside region in North Lincolnshire, England. Humberside is an important regional aviation facility in the country's north-west, averaging more than 500,000 passengers p/a. General aviation is a large revenue source at Humberside, with several flying clubs and training organisations based at the airport. The majority of commercial passenger traffic is in the summer months, when charter airlines from across Europe operate to holiday destinations. Humberside is the UK’s second-largest heliport, serving the offshore oil and gas industry in the North Sea.
