Westforce Aviation
About
Westforce Aviation was a proposed UK subsidiary of parent LCC, Norwegian Air Shuttle. The entity applied to the UK Civil Aviation Authority in Jan-2015 for an operating licence for scheduled and charter services. Westforce Aviation was formed in Dec-2014 and was expected to allow Norwegian access to serve routes to countries such as South Africa as well as others in Asia. The proposed start-up was rebranded as Norwegian Air UK in 2015. The new UK based subsidiary commenced service operations on 29-Mar-2016, with London Gatwick-Boston service.
