Established in Jan-2017, Sigma Airlines is a cargo carrier headquartered in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The airline operates adh-hoc charter and on-demand cargo services with a fleet of commercial freighters and helicopters. Sigma Airlines operates to destinations in the Middle East, Europe, CIS, Africa and South America.

Sigma Airlines' operating certificate was suspended on 23-Sep-2020, based on the results of inspections on compliance with the requirements of the legislation of Kazakhstan, ICAO standards and recommended practices. Kazakhstan developed additional measures for the registration of cargo and subsequent controls. The measures were introduced to the draft on amendments to the law on airspace use. The standards are expected to be adopted by the end of 2020.
